The landmark lawsuit between Apple and Samsung is still yet to be fully resolved. It came to a judge that Samsung to pay Apple $120 million in damages for patent infringement last year.
The US court admitted Samsung violate Apple’s patents for slide-to-unlock, autocorrect, and cnverting text into hyperlinks, however, the judge denied Appleās bid for Samsung to stop selling those phones.
Recently, Apple has won an appeal against the latter ruling. Now the case is on its way back to the lower district court.
iPhone maker insists its principle and it won’t let those infringment act remain unpunished. Therefore, the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be called back from its stores even though they are four years old and rarely seen in the market.
Samsung made some tech adjustments for its recent devices in order to avoid being accused of infringment again, but it was acknowledged to challenge the latest ruling.
Apple firm made it clear that they will continue to stick up for their rights to have the full Court of Appeal review its decision.
The two companies signed an agreement that saw both sides stop the hatchet on all patents disputs outside of the US. But the hostilities between two companies are still existence on Apple’s home turf.
