The remains of Oracle uninstall would be the reason that some Windows users may have to restore system. Here we want to help you.
Method One: Uninstall Oracle Manually
1. Login in Windows system as the Administrators group.
2. Uninstall all products and its components within Oracle Uninstaller.
3. Stop Oracle Service.
4. Delete Oracle files located in % ORACLE_base% files and SYSTEM_DRIVE in Program Files .
5. Delete Oracle items located in SYSTEM_DRIVE: Documents and Settings All Users of “Start” menu.
6. Open Registry Editor as follow:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT; then remove Keys beginning of Oracle, ORA, ORCL;
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARE; then delete the ORACLE Key and Apache Group Keys;
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEM CurrentControlSet Services; then delete Key beginning of Oracle;
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SYSTEM CurrentControlSet Services Eventlog Application; then delete Key beginning of Oracle;
HKEY_CURRENT_USER; then delete Oracle key;
HKEY_CURRENT_USER SOFTWAREORACLE; then delete the Keys beginning of Oracle or Oracle key (if any);
Close Registry Editor, restart computer.
7. Open up System Environment Variable (My Computer -> right click-> System Properties -> Advanced -> Environment Variables), delete all the items beginning with %ORACLE_HOME% located in PATH.
8. Restart your computer.
